Celebrate Easter With Us!

Join us for a joyful Easter Sunday celebration as we come together to rejoice in the hope, renewal, and victory of Jesus’ resurrection! This special gathering will be filled with worship, Scripture, and a message of new life, reminding us that darkness does not have the final word—Christ is risen!
 
Whether Easter is a longtime tradition for you or you’re simply curious about its meaning, you are warmly invited to experience the joy and promise of this day with us. Come as you are and celebrate the good news of Easter in community!

We will have two opportunities to gather at 9am & 11am.

We will have Kids Church during both gatherings but the Youth will be gathering ONLY during the 11am service.

Makers Youth are returning to Camp Pondo this year from June 8-12!! Summer camp is available for all incoming 6th through outgoing 12th graders. With stellar worship sets, deep devotionals, intimate small group discussions, plenty of free time, and tons of outdoor rec activities, our students are invited on an adventure they'll remember for the rest of their lives! 

Spots are limited, so register ASAP! ($100 NONREFUNDABLE deposit required to register, which goes toward the $550 total per camper cost due June 1st.) 

This Good Friday, we're gathering in homes to slow down together and remember the sacrifice of Jesus — sharing a meal, sharing stories, and making space for what this day means.

Join us for dinner at the home of Doug and Debbie Ament in Jamul on Good Friday, April 3rd, for an intimate evening of community, conversation, and reflection. 

Guests can begin arriving by 4 pm, and dinner will be served at 5:30 pm. Please bring your own favorite beverage to share. Space is limited, so registration is required. We look forward to seeing you there!

Good Friday is one of the most sacred days of the Christian year — and some of the most meaningful ways to mark it happen not in a sanctuary, but around a table. We've created a guide for those who want to host their own Good Friday gathering at home: an experiential, unhurried space for friends, family, or a small group to sit together in the weight and wonder of this day. Whether you're drawn to the rhythms of a Seder table, the slow practice of lectio divina, or simply gathering people you love around candlelight and story, this guide will help you lead something holy.

If you are looking to get connected at Makers for the first time we want to invite you to Open Table!

Open Table is a gathering space for everyone who is new to the community of Makers and/or is looking to dive deeper into the life of the church. This is about finding out what your right next step is and doing it surrounded by a group of wonderful humans whose lives have been transformed by community. 

This is a casual event where you can come and meet several people from our pastoral and ministry teams, ask questions, learn more about who we are and find your next right step!

Desserts and drinks will be provided and we hope to see you there!

Youth Bowling Night is on Wednesday, April 22 at Aztec Lanes!!! (6075 Aztec Circle Dr, San Diego, CA 92182). We will meet at the church at 5:45pm and vanpool over to the bowling alley at 6:00pm sharp, bowl from 6:30-8pm and then head back to the church for pickup at 8:30pm. 

Makers will reserve the lanes and pay for shoe rentals. Youth will need their own money if they want any snacks or soda from the vending machines there. 

Please REGISTER your youth and any invites on the Church Center Events page by Monday April 20th 

Makers Youth will be gathering at the Fancher's house for a movie night on Tuesday, May 19th, from 6:30-8:30!!! We'll provide pizza, snacks, and drinks. Invite your friends!!

SHE is designed for women of all ages to come together for an evening of connection, mentorship, and spiritual refreshing. Feel free to bring a friend!

This event will be hosted at Makers Church and is open to women ages 18+. Registration is required and we can't wait to celebrate and honor all of the ladies of Makers!

“'I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.' And he worshiped the Lord there." -1 Samuel 1:27-28.

Child Dedications at Makers Church are about providing an opportunity for parents to bring their children before the Makers community to declare full intent on their commitment to raise their children to love God and love others. It is a commitment from the families and from the Makers Community at large to grow together and support one another in the raising up of our children.
