Kids Night In (Formerly Parents' Night Out) is HERE! Drop off your kids (ages 3+) for an evening of fun crafts, a movie, and games with the Makers Kids staff and Makers Care Team helpers! Kids Night In runs from 5pm to 8pm at Makers Church.

This event is free for all but registration is required!

Makers Youth will be bonding around the bonfire to boost the bleak and brooding spirits of being back in school! Also, there will be S'mores!!

We will meet in the church parking lot at 6:00pm and vanpool over to Crown Point promptly at 6:15pm. Pick-up back in the parking lot at 8:30. 

Join Megan Meyer for a night at the Padres game! It’s a giveaway night, so get there early if you want to get a free Manny Machado City Connect basketball jersey (game starts at 6:40 pm). We’ll be sitting in 2 rows in the upper deck!

Tickets are $41 each - you can Venmo me (@megan-carolin) and then I will email your tickets. You’ll need the Ticketmaster app to receive the tickets.

Come spend a creative evening at this printmaking gathering! We’ll provide soup to share, and you're welcome to bring a side dish if you'd like. Together, we’ll explore simple printmaking techniques, and you'll have the chance to create your very own stamp. No experience needed—just come as you are and enjoy food, fellowship, and creativity. Adults only, please.

Be sure to dress with art-making in mind, as things may get a little inky! It's also a good idea to come with an idea for your stamp ahead of time or even bring a printed image or design that inspires you. (Tracing is an easy approach, just keep the image smaller than 3x5 in if you will want to trace it) 

Book Exchange with a side of chili! 
Join us for a cozy evening of fun, fellowship, and books. Bring your favorite chili topping and one or more books to exchange! Chili will be provided (regular, and a vegan gluten free option) 

Join the Meyer family for a family-friendly Enchilada night at their home in Point Loma! We will provide both vegetarian and chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. We will also have margaritas for the grown ups- both with and without alcohol. All you need to bring is yourself!

Enjoy an evening in the country and join us for a family-friendly barbecue and bonfire at the Schlegel home in Lakeside. Please bring a drink or side dish to share, and kids are welcome!

Youth 30x30 at Arcade Monsters!

Join us for a “Youth-only” 30x30 event at Arcade Monsters, hosted by Bruxy! (Brittany and/or Clay will be there, too) Get ready for a night full of games, friends, and non-stop fun! 

Location: Arcade Monsters San Diego - right across from PETCO Park
Cost: $25 per person (includes unlimited free play – no re-entry)
Food: Bring cash if you want to grab food or snacks
Time: 6:30-9pm

Arcade Monsters is huge - 3,000+ square feet, two floors, and over 200 games. Think retro classics, rhythm games, pinball, racing sims, consoles, and more, all on free play for the night.

Who can come?
This event is for youth in Grades 6–12, and adults are welcome to join their students.

Makers' Youth will be cruising over to UTC mall on Tuesday, September 16th for an epic picture scavenger hunt!!! 

We'll meet in the church parking lot for van pool at 6:00pm and leave PROMPTLY at 6:15pm. Pickup will be back at the church parking lot at 8:30pm.

Join the Foster Community Group for a play date at the park. We look forward to hanging out and sharing about our group. 

The Care Team invites you to our regularly scheduled Family Dinner. We’re excited to get to know you, and there’s always room to serve with us. Stay at the end for some backyard karaoke!

Join us for a lovely evening at the beautiful Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego! Dinner will be served at 6:00pm with a delicious buffet dinner in the Shell & Ventana Venue, with gorgeous marina and ocean views.

As the sun sets, head outside to unwind by a beachside bonfire, complete with ocean breezes and laid-back vibes. (and smore's, of course :) We hope this evening is a time of connection and encouragement for the Maker's family, a chance to relax, share, and feel supported in community together!

Cost: This event is free to attend. A cash bar will be available for adults.

Parking: Complimentary "public" parking is available on a limited basis on Gleason Road and Ventura Cove — overflow parking is also available on Bonita Cove. These lots are neither owned nor operated by the Bahia Resort Hotel. Parking and traffic conditions may be challenging over the weekends. We highly encourage early arrivals and/or carpooling.
