The Alpha course is a series of conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening environment. It's designed for those who are curious about Christianity, don't go to church, or are new to the faith. The course includes talks, discussions, and opportunities to connect with others, and will be on Tuesday nights @ 6:30-8:30 pm from September 9th to November 4th.

“'I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.' And he worshiped the Lord there." -1 Samuel 1:27-28.

Child Dedications at Makers Church are about providing an opportunity for parents to bring their children before the Makers community to declare full intent on their commitment to raise their children to love God and love others. It is a commitment from the families and from the Makers Community at large to grow together and support one another in the raising up of our children.

Join us for another Women's Only event on October 15th!  Our theme is SHE Delights, and we will be serving delicious fall snacks and drinks.

Inspired by our Ladies' Community Group, we’ll be having a Favorite Things gift exchange as part of the evening!

Please bring three of the same item you love ($10 or less total). The items can be store-bought or from your home/garden — a favorite pen or notebook, chapstick, tea, a handwritten poem, or even fruit or herbs from your yard.

We’ll enjoy time together, share the stories behind our favorite things, and then do a fun swap — so you’ll head home with three new favorites and deeper connections made along the way.

SHE is designed for women of all ages to come together for an evening of connection, mentorship, and spiritual refreshing. Feel free to bring a friend!

This event will be hosted at Makers Church and is open to women ages 18+. Registration is required and we can't wait to celebrate and honor all of the ladies of Makers!

Kids Night In (Formerly Parents' Night Out) is HALLOWEEN THEMED! Drop off your kids (ages 3+) for an evening of play trick or treating, fun crafts, a movie, and games with the Makers Kids staff and Makers Care Team helpers! Kids Night In runs from 5pm to 8pm at Makers Church.

This event is free for all but registration is required!

Makers Youth will be hosting our annual Pumpkin Carving Party on Tuesday, October 21st from 6:30-8:30pm in room 203 (the corner room next to the youth room, above the temporary sanctuary).  Food will be provided. Enter through the side gate on Bancroft Street.
 
Please Note: Alpha will be happening in the courtyard at the same time, so we ask that everyone enters quietly and respectfully so as not disturb them.   

Advance registration is especially necessary at this event for all attendees in order to ensure that everyone has a pumpkin to carve. Please register every youth who will be there, including friends, no later than Monday Oct. 20th!!!
